This system has been added to the VYAIR range of reverse osmosis water filter systems in response to customers requiring large volumes of high-quality pure water.

Fitted with a pressure gauge and including a John Guest 3/4" to 3/8" adapter. This is essential if you wish to connect your reverse osmosis system to a washing machine attachment.

Everything you need to install and operate this system is included in one box. The system can be connected to copper mains water piping, or thanks to the inclusion of a John Guest adapter can also be used with an outside tap. The system features 4 stages of filtration: Stage 1 and 2 remove sediment, particles, foul taste and odour from the feed water, whereupon it is pushed via mains pressure through a 3-layer-composite low pressure reverse osmosis membrane, after which the RO water passes through the a further coconut carbon filter for final polishing to deliver large volumes of purified water.

What's In The Box?

  1. VYAIR 4-Stage 300gpd RO unit with pressure gauge
  2. 5-micron melt-blown polypropylene particle filter with granular activated carbon (GAC) filter
  3. 10-micron coconut block carbon filter for taste and odour removal
  4. 1 x 300 gallons-per-day (ultra-low pressure) 1,136 litres-per-day membranes
  5. Waste water saddle valve with 3 metres of 1/4" water pipe and 3 metres of 3/8" water pipe
  6. Spanners for filter and membrane housings

FILTER LIFE: Depending on usage, the 3 pre-filters need changing at 6 month intervals, the RO membrane at 18 - 36 month intervals. The lifespan of the RO membrane is affected by the following: bacterial and chlorine contamination (caused by not changing the pre-filters often enough) and hard water. If you have very soft water or are using the RO system on the output of a water softener, you can expect a lifespan of 3 years. If used with a rainwater harvesting system you can expect longer as there will be no chlorine present in the feed water.
