This Carbon cartridge is constructed with NSF approved activated coconut shell carbon and KDF-55 media, utilising redox reactions to kill and inhibit bacterial growth and target heavy metals within water. KDF-55 also significantly improves the service life of the carbon cartridge. Carbon cartridges are a wide used choice for the reduction and removal of chlorine, VOCs, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, caesium and strontium whilst reducing water hardness. They also improve the taste and odour of drinking water.

Supplied water travels upwards within the cartridge to ensure long contact time with the treatment media, allowing for maximum absorption. To make sure no particles escape with the water, this cartridge is supplied with an internal PP post filter.
