Our RO Medical specially pairs our recommendation of RO system with the appropriate connections, supporting dentists and other sectors during CQC inspections. We would recommend that you arrange a plumber to install a 15mm double check valve (DCV) with a 3/4″ male washing machine connection to pass this aspect of the inspection.
Ultraviolet sterilisation is a well established process to rapidly disinfect water without the use of heat or chemical processes such as chlorination or ozonisation. UV does not add anything to water such as undesirable colours, tastes or odours and creates no by product.
The system is rated at 50 gallons per day and contains an option to include a final polishing stage by utilising colour change deionisation resin. All RO systems can be purchased with customisable consumables. Some are designed to target specific contaminants, eg. Chloramine, and others are rated at increasing efficiencies depending on the quality of your source water, and how long you would like your filters to serve for.
Pump Care
Do not run a pump continuously for more than 4 hours or allow a pump to run dry. Doing so will cause the pump to overheat and become damaged. So that you do not need to manually turn the system off every 4 hours, we suggest installing a timer to give the pump a thirty minute break so that it will cool down. We also recommend you install a low pressure switch before your pump so that it does not run dry with little feed flow. A pump should also be mounted using the built in mounting holes to stop the pump from getting damaged through uncontrolled vibration.
If any of the above directions are not followed, the warranty of the pump will be null and void. We will ask for evidence of you following the above directions and will not issue a warranty replacement without any.
