RO Storage Tanks

RO Storage tanks are applied when storing purified water, typically under the kitchen counter when using reverse osmosis for drinking water. When a tank is empty of water, it will hold an air pressure ranging from 5 – 10 psi, increasing when water is forced into during RO water production. The pressure created within the tank will force the water out when a demand is created, in this case when a tap is turned on for water to flow.

It is a common misconception of how much water you can store within RO tanks, as part of the advertised volume is stored as air. However, all of our listed volumes are the results of in house testing carried out to give you a better idea of how much water you can have on demand.
