Milwaukee Instruments PH55 is a pocket type dip meter meter for testing the pH of all applications where an accurate pH reading is required, including drinking water and koi carp pond water.
This pen device is amazingly simple to use, IP67 rated (waterproof) provides relaxed ease of use, the automatic recalibration process is so swish you will need to watch the video twice to take in how simple it is. A link to the manufacturers specification and calibration video are detailed below.

A waterproof pH tester with large dual-level LCD that displays pH and temperature (°C or °F). The large display shows readings in an extended range from -2.0 to 16.0 pH, and simultaneously shows temperature from -5.0 to 105.0°C or 23.0 to 221.0°F. They have a stability indicator and hold function that freezes the display for easy and accurate recording. The large display also has graphic symbols to guide you through all operations. Complete with a temperature probe for faster and more precise temperature measurement they compensate automatically for temperature. Calibration is made automatically in 1 or 2 points with memorized standard and nist buffer sets. Auto power off saves battery power after non-use.
This test meter does require the sensor to be dipped in storage solution/water for prior to use, (as do all pH meters) we are happy to do this for you on request, but if you order late in the afternoon it may delay the shipment of your meter that particular day.
A pH meter is very different from a TDS/EC meter and does require the use of a storage solution to maintain the efficiency of the ph electrode that is in the tip of the device. Also it is important that the device is calibrated regularly with calibration solution.
The warranty is subject to the meter been used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations with regards to caring for the device. The warranty does not cover customer abuse or lack of care.
