Black high pressure switch with screw thread connections. Connects to 1/4" RO pipe.
A high pressure switch is a safety device that will protect your RO system from damage by stopping the water when your water tank is full, provided you are using a float switch/ball valve on your water tank. Pressure switches for reverse osmosis tanks are used to turn off the flow of water when the pure water tank is full, by switching off the pump. Both the push-fit and screw thread connections will fit to 1/4" reverse osmosis pipe. You can use this high pressure switch in conjunction with 24 volt booster pumps that have been post fitted on un-pumped RO water filters. This will assist in reducing damage to pump diaphragms, merely place this switch in the live circuit of the booster pump. Please note this will not prevent damage to your pump if it is not designed for 24/7 operation, but will stop it if your water tank is full.
This can also be used along with other components that are available to fully automate your reverse osmosis system.
