Vyair VYR-35A In-Line External Universal Fridge Water Filter Compatible with Samsung DA29-10105J & More

This is a Vyair fridge filter, which is designed to be used with any fridge with a water dispenser or ice maker, and uses 1/4” push fit connections. Whilst it may not be a manufacturer’s original product, this item has been made to the highest possible standard and is specifically designed to fit nearly all fridges using this filter type. 

Integrating a heavy duty sintered carbon block, this filter is a necessary component for your fridge water dispenser. It will effectively remove contamination and content such as chlorine, rust, turbidity, organic matter and more. We can guarantee that this item is fully food safe and is made from non-harmful materials.

Like most fridge filters, it is strongly recommended that you replace this filter every 6 months. This is to stop the filter getting clogged up and becoming ineffective.

Installation and replacement procedure for the VYR-35A fridge water filter:

Note: Cartridge is supplied with quick-fit push-in connecters (John Guest style) and is designed to be installed on the 1/4" diameter cold water supply line to the refrigerator/icemaker

• Turn off the cold water supply.
• Remove the tubing from the ends of the old filter. Note: Take precautions as water will drain from the filter and pipes.
• Discard the old water filter.
• Align the new water filter with the water flow direction.
• Insert tube into the end of the filter that the flow arrow points until the tube stop.
• After inserting tube, put together the clip strongly.
• Repeat on the other end of the filter.
• Turn on the water supply.
• Use the fridge dispenser to ensure that any air pockets are removed.
• Check for any leaks.

When to change a filter: The filter cartridge should be replaced when the replacement indicator light turns red, or every 6 months, or if the flow of water to a dispenser or icemaker decreases.

Important: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by the water filter device are not necessarily in your water.

Important: It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufacture's recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised. Failure to do so may void warranty.

As with all in-line external water filters, the Vyair VYR-35A does not remove fluoride. Note: The filter also helps reduce limescale build-up to protect your refrigerator and ice maker.

Important: To reduce the risks associated with water leakage, which, if not avoided, may result in property damage, check with a plumbing professional to verify that your water pressure is less than 125 psi.

Important: Install on cold water line only.

Change filter at least every 6 months.
